How to Mirror Android to TV Screen?

Smartphones are great for watching TV and movies; however, it can be a better experience to watch them on a bigger screen, for example, smart TV. So how to mirror Android to TV screen for better viewing experience?


In addition to watching movies, getting your Android screen mirroring on the TV screen is quite necessary when you want to show your Android screen to a large audience: giving a demonstration or presentation, showing off photos from a recent trip, or showing how to play a game and use an app.


However, not all Android phones can be mirrored to smart TV, though most Samsung devices are compatible. If you have a Samsung mirror TV or other smart TV, you don’t need a screen mirroring app for Android to get it done. All you need is you have a compatible Android device. Most Samsung smartphones enable you to do this mirroring task.

Steps to Mirror Android to Smart TV (For Most Samsung Devices)

Step 1: Press the Source button on the remote.

Step 2: Navigate and select "Screen Mirroring". 

On your smart TV, you will see a screen prompting you that it is waiting for a device to be connected. This screen will be displayed if your Android phone is connected to the TV. But if it isn’t, it will time out after 2 minutes.


Step 3: On your Samsung phone, run the "Settings" app. Then slide the slider and select "Screen Mirroring" under "Connect and share". Tap the TV you would like to connect to. Once connected, your mobile device screen will be shown on the TV.




If you have a Samsung phone which is not in the compatible list mentioned above, you will need to try below way:


Step 1: Turn on the smart TV and place your Samsung close to the TV.

Step 2: On your Android phone, pull down the notification panel and tap "Quick Connect". 

Step 3: If this is the first time to use Quick Connect, you may be asked to update or enable it. Then select "Scan for nearby devices" and pair your TV you wish to connect to. 

How to Mirror A Non-Samsung Device to A Samsung Smart TV?

If your Android phone is not a Samsung device, you will need to download and install a third-party screen mirroring app for Android. Then you can connect the two with the help of that app. Which app to choose depends on the model and manufacturer of your non-Samsung phone. Unfortunately, if your device is not developed by Samsung, it will not be supported.

How to Mirror Android Screen to PC?

To mirror you Android phone to the computer screen, you can use cFone Android Data Recovery. First, you should download and install the Android Data Recovery program on the computer to which you want to mirror your device screen. 



Step 1: Connect Android to PC

Launch Android Data Recovery and then connect your Android phone to the computer via USB cable. And then follow the onscreen instructions to enable the USB debugging so the program can detect your device.

Step 2: Mirror Android Screen to PC

Once your Android phone is connected, Your Android screen would be mirrored to your computer automatically and you can see exactly what you do on your Android phone with a large PC screen.
