How to change hp default password

Well, Don't panic, there are many options and tools that can reset or recover your password on HP laptop computer, regardless of admin or user password. Method 1 Reset HP router to default password


If you decide to revert your HP router to it's factory defaults, you should do the 30-30-30 reset as follows:


1  When your HP router is powered on, press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds.

2  While still holding the reset button pressed, unplug the power of the router and hold the reset button for another 30 seconds

3  While still holding the reset button down, turn on the power to the unit again and hold for another 30 seconds.


Your HP router should now be reset to its brand new factory settings, Check the table to see what those are (Most likely None/None).


Method 2 Reset System Setting

1. Log on to the computer using the administrator username and password established. Click the Windows “Start” button in the lower left corner and select “Control Panel” from the left column. Locate and click on “User Accounts” to make changes to your user account.


2. Click the “Change Your Password” link and complete the fields on the screen. Enter your current password, type your new password and then confirm your new password by typing it in again in the field below.

3. Create a password hint in case you forget your new password and need assistance remembering it. Please note that this hint will be accessible to anyone who uses your computer, so be careful not to enter anything too personal or obvious.


4. Click the “Change Password” button when you’re done to complete the process.
