How to delete all emails on iPhone

Nowadays, we more prefer use Email to contact with the people we are not very familiar with especially the business relation. However, it is not hard to be wowed by the inbox you open every day filled with the endless marketing advertisements, which can be annoyed so much. In this case, just delete them away is the easiest way. However, for some iOS 10 users, if there are too many emails they don`t need and should be deleted on iPhone, they have to select one by one till they delete all emails on iPhone for the reason of iOS 10 without the features “Trash All” choice. So is there any other ways for iOS 10 iPhone users to delete the useless emails? This is the point we are going to talk about.


Method 1. How to delete all Emails on iPhone in iOS 10


Actually there is a hidden method in iOS which can be ignored easily by us with the function of deleting all emails in Inbox or Draft with just several clicks. Any iPhone and iPad in iOS 10, including iPhone6/6s, iPhone 7 are supportable.


1. Open your iPhone email Inbox or other mailboxs without "Delete All" option and touch Edit on the top corner.


2. When your finish selecting an useless email, press and hold "Move" on the bottom and then uncheck the email you selected. Don`t release "Move" until you uncheck all the emails you checked before.


3. A new page that allows you to move all emails to another folder will show out, such as Junk and Trash. In this moment, you can delete all emails on iPhone to trash.


4. After moving all emails to trash on iPhone, tap "Edit" > "Delete All" in trash folder to get rid of all emails in Inbox or other boxes that have no "Trash All" on your iPhone.


5. Open Trash folder then you can delete all emails on your iPhone.


How to delete all emails on iPhone with “Trash All” option


1.Open Mail app on iPhone.


2.Touch inbox and choose the emails you want to delete including unread count and click Edit.

Click Trash All or Mark All.


3.Tap "Trash All" or "Archive All" confirmation. Alternatively if you are Marking All, you can tap Mark as Unread.


How to delete all emails on iPhone at once without jailbreak


1.If there are some emails on your iPhone are marked as unread: Open Inbox -> Edit -> Mark All -> Mark As Read. 


2.Open Inbox- > Edit -> Check or select the top emails; it will highlight "Move" option.


3.Press and hold "Move", keeping your finger on the Move button, use another finger to uncheck the emails that you had checked earlier.


4. Release all your fingers off from iPhone screen and leave it alone. Wait until all your Emails pile up on the right hand portion of the screen (in ipad); iphone will give you the actual number of emails that it has selected for the action.


5.Select trash to delete all of them or any other folder where you want them to.


6.Once you have moved all Emails to the trash, you can alternatively leave them there and go to trash folder and touch Edit. The Delete All button will up at the bottom of the screen. Click it and all emails on iPhone will be deleted totally.
