I have been using Samsung Galaxy S7 for some time but when I opened the device this morning, I could not use it. It was frozen and nothing can be done. I am thinking about resetting it to the original state but I worry that this may erase my data and files from the phone. Any suggestion?
One of our customers sent me an email and inquired about solution. If you come across a Samsung Galaxy S7 frozen issue, don’t worry, this is very common and there is a roundabout solution. Just like iPhone, a Samsung device may also get stuck in the start screen. You can’t do anything, all you can see is the Samsung logo in the screen. You may suffer from this if something goes wrong with Android operating system, for instant, a corrupted or scrambled system. And you will need to make a factory reset for your Android phone.
And just as what our customer is worried about, resetting Android will erase all data, apps and personal settings on the phone. If you have to do this, below is how you can recover files from Samsung stuck in start screen.
If your Samsung phone won’t turn on and stays in the start screen with the Samsung logo on it, just reset it back to factory settings. And after that, you can use cFone Android Data Recovery to recover data from the fresh phone. This software can help you recover contacts, text messages, photos, videos, music, WhatsApp and so on. You can download and install the program on your computer and follow below steps.
Launch cFone Android Data Recovery and choose “Data Recovery” in the user interface.
Now connect your Samsung phone to the computer via USB cable and follow the steps to enable USB debugging.
In this step, you will need to select file types to scan. You can select those you want to recover and deselect those you don’t need.
Now you should select a scanning mode and click “Start” to scan through the Android device.
The program will find and display the deleted files in the interface.
Once the scanning process is completed, you will see all your data listing in the interface. Once you select the deleted files you want to recover, click the “Recover” button to start the recovery. And you will get back all data from the Samsung Galaxy S7 frozen device.
