If you have an iTunes backup and your computer doesn't remember your iPhone, then you can use cFone iOS Data Recovery to retrieve photos from the iTunes backup. Download and install this program on your computer and then follow below steps:


Step 1. Choose Recovery Mode

Launch cFone iOS Data Recovery and choose “Data Recovery” when you get to the main interface.

Choose "Recover from iTunes Backup File" in the left panel. Once you do that, the iTunes backup recovery tool will detect all iTunes backup files on this computer and display them in the window. You can confirm which one is the one you need according to the date it has been created.

Step 2. Scan Photos from iTunes Backup File

Choose the iTunes backup file that contains the photos you want to recover and click "Start Scan". It will take a few minutes to extract all data from the iTunes backup file.

Step 3. Preview and Retrieve Photos from iTunes Backup

When the scanning process is completed, all data in the backup file will be extracted and displayed in categories. You can preview them one by one before recovery. Then you can selectively mark and recover the photos you want by pressing the "Recover to Device" or “Recover to Computer” button at the bottom.

Solution 2: Get Photos out of Locked iPhone by Backing up iPhone via iTunes

If you had previously synced your iPhone with iTunes, there is a chance that iTunes would not ask you for the passcode when you connect the device to the computer. Then you are able to back up and restore the iPhone.

 

Step 1: Connect your iPhone to the computer and then launch iTunes. Once the iPhone is detected, click on it and in the "Backups" section, select "This Computer" and make sure that "Encrypt This Backup" is unchecked. Step 3: Once above is done, you can set up your iPhone as a new device. Now go to the "Apps & Data" Screen to select the backup you created before and restore it to your iPhone. The backup will include all your information without the passcode. Once it is completed, you should be able to get into the device.

Solution 3: Import Pictures from Locked iPhone with Windows Media Gallery

There is another way to get back photos if you are locked out of iPhone. You can do this by using Windows Media Gallery. And here is how:

 

Step 1: Make sure you are using the latest iTunes because this helps your Windows computer recognize your iPhone. Now connect the iPhone to computer via USB cable.

Step 2: Start the Photos App on your computer and then click "Import" at the top right corner.

Step 3: After you select the photos you want to import to the computer, click "Continue" to transfer the selected photos to the computer.
