After rooting your Android phone with a rooting app such as Odin3 or KingoRoot, you can manage root permission of your rooted device. All you need is an Android root manager. And in this article, we will introduce two powerful Android root managers for you: Superuser and SuperSu Pro. It is difficult to tell which is better, it all depends on you and your needs. Let’s check out what these two managers can offer.

Note: If your rooted phone encounters issues installing or upgrading from another Superuser or SuperSU, try the recovery zip installation provided by Superuser.

Superuser is specially developed for Android users to manage root rights of the Android device. You can download the superuser.apk file on Google Play and install it on your Android. With the help of Suepruser, you can easily manage root rights. For example, you can:

1. Disable and allow access to Apps or ADB;

2. Disable or allow declared permission that only allows requests from apps;

Set an Automatic Response that prompts, denies, and allows to the phone show confirmation dialog for new requests.

4. Enable PIN Protection: Once set, the phone will require enter a PIN to approve Superuser request. Once your enable the Request Timeout, Superuser request will be denied after the time you set.

SuperSu Pro

Unlike Superuser which is a standalone app, SuperSu Pro, instead, is a license file for Super Su. Nevertheless, you need to install the SuperSU on your Android before using SuperPro. Once you have the SuperSu pro apk installed, you can enable Superuser with the help of SuperSU pro.

1. If you choose Re-authentication, you will be asked for permission again if an app is re-installed or upgraded. You can then set auto-deny countdown; but please remember that if the countdown is set to longer than 10 seconds, it may cause crash in badly-written apps. If you turn on Show notifications, a notification will be shown when a program requests access.

2. The Auto-refresh apps and logs tab allows the phone to automatically refresh apps and logs tabs as new entries are added. Detection depends on access and notification settings.

3. You can configure PIN code with SuperSU Pro to protect your phone. Once you do this, only the primary user has root access even though you enable multi-user. Besides, you can ban superuser prompt dialog from responding to input while obscured by any other window or overlay.
